From a Fire and Brimstone preached past, I always thought God was an angry being. How can I love an angry God? I tried to follow the rules, but I couldn't always. I thought He would strike me dead if I sinned, so I lived in fear for most of my life. At age 54, I visited a Christmas program at a local church that changed my life. There was no baby Jesus, only testimonies and drama about how during troubled times people turned to a loving God how helped them through it. A loving God? Wow. It changed my life. I still fear Him, but it is now a healthy fear. The kind one would have of a loving father who would punish you if you deserved it, but would do it because if their love for you. I started this site, because I want to tell the world about a loving God who pursued me and showed His love by sending His son to take my place so I could have a loving relationship with Him. Thank you Father for showing this to me.
