Ezek. 28:13
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; … the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

How can you take music made by musicians who were high on drugs and alcohol and make it holy by adding Christian lyrics? Mix common with holy? Lev. 10:10 2 Cor. 6:15.

Exodus 15:20 Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her, with tambourines and dancing.

Our church is changing. Musicians will want to put together a worship band to accompany the praise singers . They need to know along with the sound person that the words of the song should be heard above the music. If you will use acoustic drum you will need to enclose it in a sound proof cage so the volume can be controlled and it can be a beautiful experience.

If you are a worship leader or music director, do your research and do not take Ivors extremist message as sound doctrine. And above all, be led by the Holy Spirit both in your life and in church. And always remember the joy in being a child of God and do not follow extremist pastors and their messages that seek to steal away the beauty of the musical gifts and talents that God gave to His church.

He did not say only rap makes you move. Any syncopated beat does it. The Bible definitely does not support the dancing we see today. It is not isolated to rap. The syncopated beat is present in all popular music today. Pop, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Country, etc. Please watch the entire series before coming to a conclusion. Try this experiment: listen to the songs I posted by Michael Harris and then listen to ANY song with a syncopated beat and note how you feel. Lean not on your own understanding.

Listening to rap doesn’t make me want to move my shoulders. I have no history with rap. Does the Bible support worship without movement? I don’t see that concept. For those with a history with rap may be moved to a place that God does not want for them. That does not mean a “beat” is wrong in God’s standard, it just means it has been abused by us on this earth and now has a negative lifestyle attached FOR YOU>

True. What i meant was that rhythm driven music can be an inspiration to holiness… it can inspire people in both directions, depending on the intention and inspiration behind the music
A drum can be very spiritual! Are you the guy in the video? Nice to meet you

@sacredshakti Rhythm driven music is nothing like Christ.

hey bro!! I been meaning to get back to you on this for a while. Yea… You are so right. The rhythm catched ppl in a spell (with a lot of mainstream musick) and then pops low-vibe subliminals in them brain. But rhythm driven music, you are right… it can be VERY shamanic and christ-like buddha-like!!
peace and love homie

hey shaktacular, came across this in your favorites…very cool stuff he’s saying here.
i wouldn’t say that all rhythm driven music is “the work of satan”. maybe that’s cause i’m a drummer
..but, it can definately be used to get people moving in a certain direction. it all depends on what message and intention you have in the song. you can lace your music with positive action, love, peace, etc.. rather than greed, women, fame, and money. nah mean?

AMAZING. I pray that all the music I create will move the Spirit and not the flesh.
this is a very deep teaching. Blessings to you! Excited for #4.
