Another poem about the faith struggle. It is not easy to be going through the narrow, we need all the protection and love we can get from Christ. We need to stick close by his side.
I AM BENT ON BELIEVING
Without you Lord, my tears share the constant dejection.
So many mistakes.
So many fake Gods.
Robbing orphans of their peace.
When darkness exists I will not dismiss you.
I need you (Even to see you) Cause without you I am blind to you.
Blind to Jesus.
Blind to the spirit you gave me, to guide me and protect me across this Himalayan obstacle course called human life.
Mornings make me unsure.
Nights make me uneasy.
Days make me pray for more of your strength.
I’m bent on believing.
I’m bent on retrieving from Satan’s army.
I’m bent on being as beautiful as you made me.
So save me Father.
Without you I’m truly empty.
